Park Street Properties was formed nearly 20 years ago with the purchase and rehabilitation of the large mixed-use buildings at 1336 to 1364 Park Street.  The restoration of these two historically significant buildings was a major factor in the revival of the Park Street shopping district, and the project received both a Mayor’s Proclamation from the City of Alameda, and a Preservation Award from the Alameda Historical Society.

The retail spaces on Park Street are anchored by Starbucks Coffee at one end, and Tomatina Restaurant at the other, creating the most sought-after retail blocks in Alameda.  With the construction of a new building around the corner on Central Avenue, the addition of several new ground and second floor office spaces,  and the recent addition of 1320 to 1324 Park Street, the project has an exciting mix of tenants including Comerica Bank, Tuttimelon, Books Inc., Tootsies, and many other upscale neighborhood-serving businesses.  For a complete list of current Park Street Properties commercial tenants, please visit the “Our Tenants” page.

The apartments above the commercial buildings on Park Street are conveniently located in the heart of the Alameda shopping district, just steps from coffee shops, restaurants, the Alameda Movie Theater, and great retail shopping.  The apartments have been upgraded and offer the charm of an older building along with other on-site amenities.
